With her work ethics the sky is the limit for her future. I'm so proud of all her hard work and effort she has put in especially since math is not her favorite subject, but she doesn't let that stop her.

Michael is a rock solid student. He is quick to understand material and even better at being independent and answering his own questions. Michael knows the answers to any question I could ask, even though he might not say it. He always gives others the opportunity to answer instead of being in the spotlight. When he is asked to do something outside of his comfort zone, he will pause and then consistently blows me away with the results. Whether that is speaking up in class or taking a leadership role in a group project, Michael is up for the challenge, even when he doubts himself. Michael is an awesome person and student. -Mr. Cornelius

12th Grade

Raelyn Thelen

Raelyn Thelen

Raelyn was chosen as a Pirate Captain primarily for her friendliness. She always greets me when she logs into a Meet, and says goodbye and wishes me a good day when she logs off. Since we have such limited interactions with our students now, it always makes my day when a student makes the effort to reach out to me just to be friendly. Raelyn does this every time I meet with her and I wanted her to know how much I appreciate it. She also is an excellent student; she turns in her work on time and it is done thoroughly and accurately. I've never met Raelyn face to face, and I'm looking forward to when I can do that!

-Ms. Callow

Intestinal Fortitude award to you Edgar.
