Scholarships
All of the scholarships for RHS students are posted on the Seniors Google Classroom, which is managed by the school counselor. This is to avoid any students from other schools and districts being able to access and submit them, making it less competitive for our own students. Parents may subscribe to the Seniors Google Classroom by accepting the invitation sent each fall. Parents can also ask their students to log into the google classroom with them and view all scholarships and make a plan for submission.
The Local Scholarship Applications are updated each year after contacting the local businesses that fund those scholarships. If you are interested in participating in that as a local business, please contact the School Counselor. Local Scholarship applications are available year-round on the Seniors Google Classroom, as well as paper copies in front of the School Counseling office each spring before spring break. The Local Scholarships are due April 10th of each year to give businesses time to make selections and present at the Scholarship Assembly the last week of Seniors' attendance.

The American Legion National HS Oratorical Contest Scholarship | Participate in the Oratorical Contest by delivering a speech on a given topic. Scholarships are awarded to the three finalists. First place receives $18,000, second gets $16,000 and third takes $14,000. To apply for the contest, download the application form in the “Student Application” section above and return it to your local Post, Unit, Squadron or District Contest Chairman as instructed.
