Denny’s Scholarship Program

Five different scholarship programs available to graduating seniors.

Feb. 14

Students of Integrity scholarship

$10,000 scholarships to recognize high school seniors who personify high ethics, as demonstrated through leadership, community service, overall personal integrity and academic accomplishments.

National Honor Society Scholarship

Must be a member of National Honor society to apply.

Feb. 29

Buick Achievers Scholarship Program

Up to $25,000 per year for 4 years for graduates planning to study science, technology, engineering, or math.

Oregon Collectors Association Hasson/Newman Memorial Scholarship

One $4,000 award and one $3,500 award.  Scholarships are for Oregon graduates and are based on a 1,000-1,500 word essay:  Subject “Credit in the 21st Century”.

Old West Federal Credit Union

Open to all graduating seniors.  Grades, school/community involvement, short essay, and letters of recommendation will be considered.

Hermiston Eagles

Open to graduates in Umatilla and Morrow counties.  Must have a 3.0 GPA, and show proof of financial need.

Available to graduating seniors in Oregon.

COSA Youth Development Scholarships

$1,000 awards to graduation seniors.  Based on school/community activities, 1-page essay, letter of recommendation, and GPA (need a 3.5 or higher).

State Farm Good Neighbor Scholarship

Fifty seniors will receive a $2,500 award.  Based on financial need and school/community activities.  Minimum 2.5 GPA needed to apply.

Award is based on short essay, transcript, and letters of recommendation.

Oregon Community Quarterback Scholarship

Need-based scholarship with criteria focusing on students involvement in his/her community, rather than academic or athletic performance.  Award is for $10,000 over 4 years.

Red & Gena Leonard Foundation

Over 100 scholarships will be awarded to local graduates.  Must attend an Oregon college or trade school (unless the training you need is not offered in Oregon), show financial need, and have a 2.0 GPA.  This scholarship is renewable for 4 years.

Pioneer Memorial Hospital Foundation

Open to graduates of Morrow County high schools.  Must be intending to pursue a healthcare related degree.

Irrigon Watermelon Festival

Two $500 awards available to Irrigon graduates.  Award is based on short essay and school/community involvement.

Oregon Farm Bureau

For graduates planning to major in an agricultural or forestry field.

Hispanic Scholarship Fund

Must be of Hispanic, have a 3.0 GPA, and be a US citizen.

Oregon PTA’s Teacher Education Scholarship

$500 award is for Oregon residents studying for a teaching degree at an Oregon public university or community college.

Community Counseling Solutions Scholarship

Six $1,000 scholarships will be available for students in Morrow, Grant, Gilliam, and Wheeler counties that are seeking a career in psychology, social work, or nursing.  This is a 4-year, renewable scholarship.

If you plan to attend BMCC you need to submit this application.  You will be considered for over 60 different scholarship awards.

Complete this application to be considered for up to 9 local scholarships.  For Riverside graduates only.

Sister Adele Scholarship Fund

Available to seniors of farmworker families living in Oregon.  Awards will range from $1,000 to $2,500.
