Happy World Kindness Day!
World Kindness Day was formed to promote kindness throughout the world and is observed annually on November 13. The World Kindness Movement describes the observance “to highlight good deeds in the community focusing on the positive power and the common thread of kindness which binds us.” Today let’s take an extra moment to reflect on the positive potential of both large and small acts of kindness.

El Día Mundial de la Bondad se formó para promover la bondad en todo el mundo y se celebra anualmente el 13 de noviembre. El Movimiento Mundial de la Bondad describe la celebración "para resaltar las buenas obras en la comunidad centrándose en el poder positivo y el hilo común de bondad que nos une". The Day of the Dead (el Día de los Muertos), is a Mexican holiday where families welcome back the souls of their deceased relatives for a brief reunion that includes food, drink and celebration. A blend of Mesoamerican ritual, European religion and Spanish culture, the holiday is celebrated each year from October 31-November 2.
El Día de Muertos es una festividad mexicana donde las familias dan la bienvenida a las almas de sus familiares fallecidos para una breve reunión que incluye comida, bebida y celebración. Una mezcla de rituales mesoamericanos, religión europea y cultura española, la festividad se celebra todos los años del 31 de octubre al 2 de noviembre.

Windy River Elementary is encouraging all 6th grade students and parents/guardians attend the Outdoor School Meeting on September 27th at 6:00pm in the Windy River Library. 6th grade students will be attending Outdoor School at Camp Elkanah October 19-21, 2022.
Windy River Elementary está animando a todos los estudiantes de 6º grado y padres/tutores a asistir a la reunión escolar al aire libre el 27 de septiembre a las 6:00 p. m. en la biblioteca de Windy River.
